Look out world because Mia Sheridan is on a roll!! What is her talent you ask? Mia's talent is the ability to create Adonis like men that women swoon over! My husband says thank you by the way, lol!

First came Leo, the brave lion. Second came Archer, the compassionate, sweet, loving, caring, irresistible, silent boy. Third came Carson, the fierce sex god, and now Calder!!

Calder, Calder, Calder!!

Calder is compassionate, strong, loyal, selfless, endearing, and beautiful from the inside out. Calder is the type of man that wears his heart on his sleeve and once you make your way to his heart, you will forever have his trust and loyalty. Calder's loyalty is so committed, that he will die trying to protect the people he loves.

I must say that my favorite trait about Calder is that he is not vain. Perhaps it is Calder's lifestyle that made him the way he is? Calder never had the opportunity to take advantage of what he had because he was only entitled to the basic "natural" necessities, therefore greed did not exist. Living at Acadia as a water bearer, you practically have no identity unless you are a part of the council. In Acadia, you are just an individual executing a role that must be completed in order to keep everything in harmony. At this point Calder was not living, he was simply surviving. Work, eat, sleep, repeat....that was Calder's life until Eden arrived.

Eden is a pure, kind hearted, loving, compassionate heroine. I feel that Eden gave Calder a reason to believe that life had more to offer. Eden awoke a part of Calder that I believe he didn't know existed at the time. Most importantly, Eden helped, guided, and influenced Calder to become the person he was destined to be, hence the title, Becoming Calder. Eden evoked feelings that Calder never experienced until she gave him a reason to embrace them. One feeling in particular that Eden awoke within Calder was love.

Together Eden and Calder learned what love is.
What is love?
Love is a morning glory.
Love is a butterscotch candy.
Love is a smooth, shiny pebble.

But what happens when such a love is forbidden even though that love seems destined by the Gods?
Love becomes strength.
Love becomes sacrifices.
Love becomes a battle.
Love becomes survival.

In Becoming Calder you will experience love being put to the test. In the end, you will see just how much the power of love can conquer. Does love really conquer all even if its challenged by evil? All in all, Becoming Calder is an amazing novel that I would highly recommend anyone to read!

OUR REVIEW

TAMED is the third novel in the Tangled series that takes place during the same time line of Tangled (Book #1).  Fans of the Tangled series are already very acquainted with Matthew and Dee, and are familiar with how their story plays out. However the purpose of TAMED is to take you back to the very beginning to show how Matthew and Dee started out. This story is for readers who were wondering how Matthew and Dee's relationship has come this far. With hat being said, TAMED is  Matthew's story!!

I must say that I think Emma Chase writes the best novels that involve the male POV. In my opinion, Matthew reminded me of Drew a lot actually. I guess that makes sense considering how we have learned how close Matthew and Drew are. The only difference between Matthew and Drew is that Matthew was not as cocky. However Matthew is no saint. Matthew is an investment banker, a player, and a man whore just like our pal Drew. Another thing that you may not know about Matthew is he is looking to settle down one day, unlike Drew (at the time). 

Now meet Dee. What can I say about her? One thing I know for certain is that I love the hell out of Dee's character!! Dee has it all she is beautiful, smart, non-committed, and slightly crazy...lol. Her past relationship I feel has caused Dee to suffer from commitment issues. 

The real question is can a I think I want to settle down, Matthew be the one to tame a slightly timid, slightly crazy, non-committed Dee? Well of course we all know the answer to that, but let's find out how it happened shall we?

If you are a fan of Tangled you will love TAMED! I highly recommend reading this novel especially if you are a fan of Matthew and Dee!

**Note: Readers do not have to read Twisted before this, this book was set in the same time frame as Tangled.**
