Blog Tour for SWEET FILTHY BOY by Author's Christina Lauren!!!

Summary
One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away

Our Review

Sweet Filthy Boy was such an upbeat novel! The characters were humorous and very likeable. Overall I loved the story! Who wouldn't like a novel about a wild night turned summer romance in France?

Mia Holland just recently graduated from college. Mia and her closest friends decide there is no better way to celebrate than to spend a weekend in Vegas. This is their time to let loose and have one last hurrah before it is time for Mia to move and start her business career. You can best decide Mia as closed off and hesitant to trust anyone outside of her circle which means she usually keeps her personal life private.

Imagine the shock her friends experienced when Mia spotted Ansel one night at a bar and the next day Ansel approaches Mia and they share this instant connection. Ansel persuades Mia and her friends to hang out with him and his two friends for the night. They agree. However what happens next is very similar to the movie The Hangover. You know anything can happen in Vegas! After a WILD night Mia wakes up with a clouded memory. She can only remember bits and pieces of what occurred the night before, but there is one clear piece of evidence that tells Mia exactly what happened that she doesn't remember. OMG!

When Mia finds Ansel he is calm and cool as a cucumber about what happened. Most importantly, he is dead set on keeping the promise he made to Mia the night before. Ansel produces a letter that Mia wrote to herself. After reading the letter she doesn't know what to think because apparently she told Ansel her whole life story (including about the accident) which she never does. She feels that she needs to give this a shot because something inside of her is definitely attracted to Ansel. The only problem is Ansel is scheduled to go back to France very soon.

After Vegas Mia has planned to go back home and begin her new journey in business to please her father. However Mia is a dancer, her heart is consumed by the art. However as fate would have it, she has no other options. Once she arrived back home her feeling is instantly regret. This is not what she wants to do with her life! Needing a place to think, she goes to her spot at the zoo. Little did she know Ansel would be there waiting for her. Shocked and confused, Ansel makes his final plea to convince Mia to return to France with him to spend the summer. At the time she declines. There is no way her father would approve! Once her and Ansel part ways for who knows how long, Mia instantly feels regret. Once she arrives home she is given the perfect opportunity to be spontaneous and just do it! Packing like a mad woman she flees the house while she has the chance. Mia cannot believe that she will be spending the summer in France with a man she barely knows, but she's gonna do it!

The rest of the journey you will have to learn on your own. One thing is for certain, Ansel is the man that will guide Mia to follow her dreams.

Lauren Billings (but everyone calls her Lo) has a Ph.D. in neuroscience and before she made writing her full-time job, would spend her days doing nerdy research-type things wearing a lab coat and goggles. She is silly Mommy to two littles, wife to one mountain biking homebrewing scientist, bestie to a shoe-stealer, and an unabashed lover of YA and romance.

Christina Hobbs (but you’ll always hear Lo call her PQ) used to spend her days in a junior high counseling office surrounded by teenagers. Married to the cutest boy in school, she has a thirteen year old daughter, is an unapologetic lover of boy bands and glitter, and also likes to steal Lo’s shoes.
