Grant

Aribel= heroine with a smart, sassy mouth that is not afraid to put the rockstar/manwhore in his place!
I will be the first to admit that I have a weakness for rockstars! I blame it on Kellan Kyle. Every time I read a synopsis that includes the word "rockstar", I am all over it! I have loved K.A. Linde's Avoiding series, so I was very excited to hear about this fresh new novel. I truly enjoyed the story and felt that it was perfectly executed.
Grant is the lead singer of Contraband. He is a womanizing manwhore. Grant did not care about anyone but himself and his band mates, plain and simple. When it came to women...he used the package in his pants to do all the thinking. That was until Grant met Aribel. Grant was perfectly content with his life until he approached Aribel at an after party. Grant being himself, he had one mission in mind: to get in her pants. However Aribel had the personality and wits to stand her ground. At first Grant considered Aribel as a challenge. A hottie with a smart mouth; challenge accepted! What Grant did not expect is for Aribel to gain the upperhand and give him a taste of his own medicine. Blackness....Grant awoke in a haze. He thought he must've done some heavy drinking the night before, but he quickly started to realize that a few things were out of the norm. 1. he woke up alone. 2. he doesn't remember anything from last night. What the hell? The fog clears, and all of a sudden he remembers...Aribel. He quickly put two and two together and was in a hurry to find out why? What did he ever do to her?
Grant was on a mission to confront Aribel. This is a first for him, waking up and a woman being in the forefront of his mind. He needed to rectify this situation stat! So, after a challenging phone call he winds up waiting for Aribel's class to end. Aribel in general intrigues him and at first it seems because she is the first woman that has ever turned him down, then he soon learned that it might have been due to something else. No! Not a possibility! Right? Does Aribel have the strength to tame the sex God? You will have to read the novel to find out! Let's just say, this is an adventure you won't forget!

About the Author
K.A. Linde graduated with her Masters in political
science from the University of Georgia in 2012. She also has a bachelors in
political science and philosophy. She wrote her the Avoiding Series while
struggling through advanced statistical modeling and writing her thesis. She
enjoys dancing and writing novels that keep you guessing until the very end.
She currently resides in Georgia with her boyfriend and
two puppies, Lucy and Riker.
